Stonehaven completes post contract cost and commercial management on SOCO at City Centre Mirdif
Stonehaven has confirmed the completion of its post contract cost and commercial management appointment on SOCO, the social gaming and dining destination delivered by Majid Al Futtaim Entertainment at City Centre Mirdif, Dubai.
Stonehaven led the post contract cost and commercial management of the project from award through to completion, and has now closed out the final accounts with all contractors and specialist trade packages.
SOCO opened to the public earlier this year following a launch event attended by senior Majid Al Futtaim leadership. Spanning approximately 2,700 square metres, the venue combines ten bowling lanes, multi-sport simulators, augmented reality darts, karaoke rooms, arcade gaming and a street food inspired food and beverage offer, alongside two attractions making their UAE debut at the venue.
Stonehaven's scope covered the full post contract commercial function, including interim valuation and payment certification, cost reporting and forecasting, variation assessment and agreement, management of the change control process across a fast moving fit out programme, evaluation of contractor claims and entitlement, and the negotiation, agreement and settlement of final accounts.
