GLOBALLY TRUSTED
QUANTITY SURVEYORS

A Bill of Quantities (BOQ) is a contract-ready document prepared by a quantity surveyor that quantifies and defines the exact scope of work for your project. We prepare detailed, itemised BOQs aligned with design intent, project specifications and BIM models. Our BOQs support transparent pricing, reducing variations and enabling early tendering and benchmarking for projects across the UAE, KSA, and wider Middle East.

International Measurements
We adhere and prepare our BOQs to NRM1, NRM2, POMI, SMM7, CESMM3, and CESMM4 standards.
Digital First
We use CostX, Bluebeam, Cubicost to deliver BOQs at speed with marked-up drawings and takeoffs.

What Our Clients Are Saying
Our Related Services
Application of Standards
Civil Engineering Standard Method of Measurement (CESMM)
+
The Civil Engineering Standard Method of Measurement (CESMM) is applied in BOQ preparation to guide costing in ongoing civil engineering projects, adhering to earlier standards. Its advantage is that it provides consistency and precision, supported by a robust framework.
Principles of Measurement International (POMI)
+
The Principles of Measurement International (POMI) is used in BOQs for complex international projects requiring uniformity across different legal systems. Its advantage is that it reduces measurement and reporting discrepancies in international construction projects.
New Rules of Measurement (NRM1 and NRM2)
+
In BOQ workflows, NRM1 is applied for early design stage cost estimating, while NRM2 is used for detailed capital cost estimation in construction. Its advantage is that it ensures detailed cost management and effective procurement in building construction, adaptable for global standards.
Standard Method of Measurement (SMM7)
+
The Standard Method of Measurement (SMM7) is primarily used in the UK for BOQs in building construction and is now transitioning to NRM2. Its advantage is that it enhances accuracy and fairness in financial assessments and contracts.
Civil Engineering Standard Method of Measurement (CESMM3 & CESMM4)
+
CESMM3 and CESMM4 are applied in BOQ preparation for major civil engineering projects, including roads, bridges, dams, and large-scale infrastructure. Their advantage is that they standardise project cost estimation, enhancing transparency and consistency across large civil works.
