About Red Sea International Airport, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
Appointed as Lead Design Consultant, Stonehaven led the prestigious Red Sea International Airport's Private Jet FBO — our fifth JETEX project to date.

BIM (LoD 500) Implementation
As Lead Design Consultant, Stonehaven implemented BIM (LoD 500) methodology to deliver fully coordinated detailed designs across interiors, MEP systems, IT infrastructure, ELV, and landscape architecture. This Private Jet FBO will play a key role in supporting Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, showcasing sustainable aviation innovation through integrated smart systems.
6,000m² Built-Up Area
Facilities include super-luxury lounges, private receptions, immigration, arrivals, and departures — all designed to mirror desert-inspired architecture while aligning with eco-friendly design principles.
This hub of premium aviation is also designed to accommodate seaplane access and is future-ready with support for electric vehicle transportation, powered by a microgrid solar power system.

Sustainable Operations
The Red Sea International Airport is set to be one of the world’s first carbon-neutral airports, operating on 100% renewable energy. Stonehaven’s project delivery supported key elements that contribute to LEED certification targets and regenerative development goals strengthening Saudi Arabia’s position as a luxury tourism destination built around regenerative tourism principles.
Future Tourism Hub
It is expected to handle up to one million passengers annually by 2030, directly improving accessibility to the Red Sea destination. The airport’s pod-style design supports modular scalability and is engineered to handle the increasing demand of eco-conscious luxury travellers drawn to Saudi Arabia’s Red Sea coast.

Airports Built For
Vision 2030
Red Sea International Airport (RSI) is a pioneering aviation gateway located in Saudi Arabia’s Tabuk Province, designed to serve the Kingdom’s flagship Red Sea tourism destination. Five sculpted 'pods' form the terminal, their contours and tones echoing the natural dunes of the Red Sea’s desert terrain.
