About the Role
STONEHAVEN is looking for a Social Media Manager based in Colombo, supporting high-profile UAE and regional real estate, construction, and hospitality brands.
This is not a “post and hope it goes viral” role.
You’ll own the planning and execution of social media across Stonehaven and client platforms, working with senior stakeholders who expect confidence, consistency, and commercial impact.
You’ll balance brand storytelling with performance thinking, ensuring every post, campaign, and caption serves a purpose.
Key Responsibilities
Build and manage monthly and campaign-based social media calendars aligned with business objectives
Oversee posting, scheduling, and platform hygiene across LinkedIn, Instagram, and emerging formats
Manage community engagement with professionalism suitable for premium brands
Work closely with content creators, designers, and videographers to deliver polished, brand-safe output
Support project launches, real estate releases, hospitality openings, and brand announcements
Track performance metrics and turn insights into clear optimisation actions
Maintain strict control over tone of voice, visual consistency, and platform relevance
Ensure content reflects UAE market expectations, cultural sensitivity, and luxury positioning
Our Ideal ‘Person’ Would Be:
4+ years managing social media for brands where reputation matters
Strong command of LinkedIn and Instagram for both corporate and lifestyle use cases
Understands how real estate and hospitality brands build trust before they sell
Analytical enough to read data and creative enough to take informed risks
Organised, composed, and reliable during deadlines and major launches
Comfortable taking direction from senior leadership and pushing back when needed
Qualifications
A degree or diploma in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field.
Proven experience managing social media accounts for brands, with examples of planned campaigns, consistent tone of voice, and platform-appropriate content.
Strong attention to detail with a professional approach to brand communication, audience engagement, and content quality.
Our Work Conditions
This is a full-time, on-site role based in our Colombo office.
Standard work hours apply (flexible between 7:30 am and 19:00 pm).
